Project SCHOLAR is a student statistical consulting group founded at the University of Central Oklahoma in 2009. Our students are paid to work in groups on statistical consulting projects submitted by other researchers on campus or businesses and organizations in the community.
The prerequisites for participation in SCHOLAR are the successful completion of STAT 2103 (Intro Stat for the Sciences), STAT 2113 (Stat Methods), or AP Statistics in high school, and a declared major or minor in Statistics, Math, Applied Math, Actuarial Science, or Math Ed.
If you meet these prerequisites and are interested in participating in SCHOLAR, please complete this application form. Over the summer we will select new SCHOLAR participants to begin in the Fall of 2017. Preference will be given to students whose applications are submitted by July 21, 2017. If you have any questions about SCHOLAR or the application process, please contact Dr. Tracy Morris at firstname.lastname@example.org.
